How much does a session cost?
Individual sessions are $125 and the intake session is $145. EMDR sessions are $155 per 50-minute session. I’m happy to talk more about what to expect and whether EMDR might be a good fit for you.
Do you take insurance?
At this time, I’ve chosen not to take insurance in order to maintain greater flexibility in how I work with clients, allowing us to collaboratively determine the frequency, length, and focus of our sessions without the limitations imposed by insurance companies. This approach supports a more personalized and responsive therapeutic experience tailored to your unique needs.
I can provide a superbill upon request. A superbill is an itemized receipt that would allow you to seek reimbursement from your insurance provider on your own.
What is an intake session?
The intake session is our first opportunity to connect, where we’ll get to know each other, go over the logistics of working together, and begin exploring what you’re hoping to gain from therapy. This session lasts 50 minutes and includes an additional $20 fee.
What forms of payment do you take?
I accept HSA or card. I can provide a superbill upon request.
A superbill is an itemized receipt that would allow you to seek reimbursement from your insurance provider on your own.
Do you accept sliding scale?
I offer income-based sliding scale rates at a limited basis. If all reduced rate spots are full, I am happy to add you to a waitlist.
What is your cancellation policy?
I ask that clients cancel or reschedule appointments at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a late cancellation or no-show fee, which is equal to the full session rate. Cancellations should be made via email or phone. Please note that after three no-shows, I discontinue scheduling future sessions.
What age groups do you work with?
I work with adults age 18+.
What is EMDR?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy that helps people heal from distressing experiences and trauma. It works by helping the brain process stuck memories so they no longer feel as intense or overwhelming.
You don’t have to talk in detail about what happened—EMDR gently helps your brain do the healing work in a way that feels manageable and empowering.
